Ahh Bra vs Genie Bra – “The Winner Is?”
After reading countless Ahh bra reviews and Genie bra reviews which included both positive comments and negative complaints I decided to write my own Ahh bra review and compare the two bras to help others, like me, understand what the difference is between the Ahh bra vs Genie bra. From what I can tell the Ahh bra was first seen on TV around August 2009. It was promoted by Rhonda Shear a Hollywood actress, comedienne and designer of upscale underclothing. Besides her connection with the Ahh bra she is best known for hosting the “USA: Up All Night” show.
The Ahh bra commercials could be seen around the clock on TV. The Ahh bra was an immediate hit with women of all bust sizes. The idea of a stylish, supportive bra that did not require uncomfortable underwires was too good to pass up for many women. The Ahh bra was not available in stores but could be purchased online or over the phone. Women by the thousands rushed to place their orders for the answer to one of women’s greatest frustrations, the never ending battle with an uncomfortable, unsupportive, unattractive bra. But almost as soon as the orders were delivered women started to post Ahh bra complaints.
The Ahh Bra Complaints
It dawned on me as I was reading some of the Ahh bra complaints there is a statistic that satisfied customers tell ten people but unsatisfied customers tell one hundred people. Thinking about it, I think that is true. I know I share my complaints more then I share my satisfaction about products I buy. It shouldn’t be that way but it is for me. After I realized that and did the math (10:1) it was very obvious that a *lot* more women loved the Ahh bra then the number of women who wrote about their Ahh bra complaints.
The one complaint that seemed to be voiced the most was the thickness of the fabric. Most women who wrote about that felt if the fabric was a little heavier it would give really good support.
The Genie Bra Review
I can’t tell for sure but either a very smart manufacturer read and listened to the comments made by women about the Ahh bra and decided that it was so wildly popular that if they improved on the design it would be even more popular or Ahh bra took the comments to heart and really did improve the bra and re-marketed it as the Genie Bra. In either case the Genie bra is one of the hottest “As Seen On TV” products of all time.

The Genie bra commercials were launched around December 2010 and quickly became the must have bra for women. Women comment over and over how comfortable and supportive the fabric is without having to have any underwires. It seems the biggest change between the Ahh bra vs Genie bra is the thickness of the fabric. The Genie bra still has the same comfort under the bust and on the shoulders that the Ahh bra had but is more supportive.
